The economy of Great Britain relies on tourism as much as any other industry. In recent years, museums have also been growing in popularity and are now regarded as a vital part of the cultural heritage for people all over the world.
It was a major milestone for the tourism industry when an exhibition about Museum was opened at Tate Modern in London. At first, it was intended to be designed with minimal information about museums but that changed quickly when visitors saw the exhibition, which included photos taken inside different museums in London and pictures that highlighted their history and significance to British culture through time. Since then, there has been a great deal of interest from both local tourists and foreign tourists to visit these places again and again.
The London based Museum of Childhood has recently had a huge exhibition which attracted visitors from all over the globe.
Great Britain is a great tourist destination. It was founded by William of Orange in 1690. One of the biggest attractions is the Stonehenge and its stones. There are so many historical places that attract tourists from all over the world and Great Britain is one such country with a lot to offer for visitors.
The Stonehenge is built on a large, flat rock called Avebury stone circle, which has been used for ritual purposes since Neolithic times. The site was once home to an estimated 4,000 people and it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980 – it attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year and even made it into UK’s 50 Most Popular Things list for 2017 (apparently first time ever).
Travel to Great Britain is one of the biggest leisure activities that people can participate. The country is rich in museums, with a total number of over 2,000. Many British museums use this benefit to attract visitors.
There is a museum in Great Britain which was built in the 1970s. They are one of the most popular tourist attractions of the country. But even though these works of art have been set up by people, they can’t be conserved forever. When it comes to preservation, sometimes people may not even know how to take care of something like this. It can be easily damaged and destroyed accidentally if no one takes any precautions.
The first attempt to manage visitor flow through a museum came in 1946 with a book by the architectural historian Eric Hutton, who had seen The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. He wanted to know how MoMA was able to cope with the hundreds of thousands of visitors it received each year.
He noticed that in the middle section, which contained all the exhibitions, there were no visitors for half an hour. It appeared that MoMA was losing potential visitors because they were not using its advanced information system which had been installed in 1952. After reading about this on a travel magazine he realised what had to be done and built up an exhibition called “A History of Photography” based on his ideas and experiences at MoMA from 1952 to today.
